Investor Update – Minimum Deposit Increased

This week we have made the decision to raise the minimum deposit to follow our strategies to be $10,000.

The main reason for this is we want to ensure we keep risks under control with the lot sizes we open and hence we require a large minimum deposit to do this.

The market is ranging at the moment. Which just means it does not know if it should go up or go down. Our strategies are fine with this with some making good profits whilst others are in hold positions as not enough movement to get any kind of direction.

As we head into the end of November and start of December, we expect larger news events will cause currencies to break out of this ranging pattern. The market is not sure what to do with so many balls in the air at the moment i.e. COVID, US change of President, stimulus packages, economy impacts, Brexit etc Also with Christmas coming, you find decisions just want to be made so they can start the new year fresh.

For the majority of our investors the increase to $10,000 will have no impact. For those investors under $10,000 we suggest the following:

  1. Please increase your deposit so the minimum requirement is met.
  2. You can arrange with our broker BlackBull to stop trading on your investment account until the minimum deposit load is met.
  3. Leave your deposit under the $10,000. Please note our strategies have now been setup with minimum deposit being $10,000. If you trade with a deposit under this amount your account will trade at a high level of risk to what the strategy would do with a $10,000 deposit account.
