Net Returns October 2024

Please find below the net returns for October 2024.

Currently all strategies are turned off whilst we wait for the US election to take place and the outcome after.  Some strategies are holding positions whilst the election occurs which we will manage.

Per our previous update we are unsure when strategies will be turned back on.  If Trump is elected, expect some large movements in the markets to work out what this means.

Regarding our strategies performance, as we only traded part of the month, the returns were good considering this.  Market liquidity kept falling each day the closer we moved towards the US election, hence why we have been stuck holding some positions.

You will notice All Tassie SR had a strong return for the month as we undertook a manual trade whilst the strategy had no trades open.  We do not normally do manual trades, but the performance of All Tassie SR has been down this year, and we could see clearly the position was going to be profitable, so we opened a larger lot size then we normally would which lead to a larger profit for the month.

With November being all focused on the US election and what happens after, returns for the month will be down and similarly we then run into Christmas which again we like to be out of all trades beforehand as liquidity dries up.  Will keep you posted once strategies come back online.

Any queries, please do not hesitate to come back to me.
